GoHealth Urgent Care, in partnership with Mercy, seeks a Regional Associate Medical Director to lead the St. Louis market for Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care.

This leadership role blends administrative oversight with hands-on patient care across multiple clinics while guiding a growing clinical team. The position combines 50% administrative leadership and 50% clinical practice, with 0.5 FTE dedicated to direct clinical duties to stay connected with front-line care delivery.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical leadership or administrative experience in urgent care or emergency settings.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing medical teams.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and management skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to physicians and APPs across the St. Louis market.
• Partner to implement clinical best practices and standardized care protocols.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of staff.
• Collaborate with operational leadership to improve provider performance and patient outcomes.
• Drive quality initiatives and ensure regulatory and accreditation standards compliance.
• Represent the clinical team in leadership meetings and strategic planning.
• Maintain 0.5 FTE clinical practice to stay connected with front-line care.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture focused on patient satisfaction and clinical excellence.
