Job summary

Millennium Physician Group seeks a friendly Regional Medical Assistant Floater to support both front office and clinical teams in Cape Coral. You will greet patients, assist with check-in, take vital signs, and help with exams and procedures.

You will perform EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection, document in the EHR, coordinate appointments, verify insurance, and support billing and patient education while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification required.
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience preferred; internship a plus.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Familiarity with EHR systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, including vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing.
• Perform EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection.
• Prepare and process lab samples and point-of-care tests.
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and clinical equipment.
• Coordinate appointments and ensure efficient patient flow across providers.
