Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Regional Mechanical Engineer to support safe, reliable operation of regional pipeline and facility assets. You will lead operating and capital projects, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and collaborate with field teams to strengthen asset performance and regulatory compliance.

Build expertise across engineering disciplines while contributing to a robust energy infrastructure. This role requires travel across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years engineering experience with problem solving for operating assets or facilities.
• Proactive, independent worker with ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with stakeholders and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to Operations, Maintenance, and Pipeline Maintenance Services to promote safe, reliable operation of assets.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, motor control, and PLC systems; recommend upgrades and solutions.
• Lead small to medium operating and capital projects from scope to closeout.
• Develop work packages, scopes, cost estimates, schedules, equipment specs, and technical recommendations meeting standards and regs.
• Participate in safety programs, site audits, outages, and emergency response roles.
• Build relationships with operations, SMEs, vendors, and external partners.
