Job summary

Medical Facilities of America seeks a Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement (MDS) to oversee MDS and clinical reimbursement across multiple facilities in the Greensboro, NC and Danville, VA region. You will drive compliance, accuracy, and optimization of MDS processes while mentoring MDS Coordinators and interdisciplinary teams.

You will analyze PDPM categories, monitor reimbursement trends, and lead audits, training, and strategic initiatives to improve performance and financial integrity

Qualifications

• RN licensure active and unencumbered.
• Proven MDS coordination and clinical reimbursement experience.
• Expert knowledge of MDS 3.0, PDPM, RAI; Medicare/Medicaid regs.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional oversight to facility MDS and reimbursement teams.
• Ensure timely MDS assessments per federal/state regulations.
• Monitor case mix, PDPM and reimbursement trends for optimization.
• Conduct audits to maintain compliance and documentation integrity.
• Develop and deliver training for facility MDS staff on RAI processes.
• Collaborate with regional and company leadership on improvement initiatives.
• Align care delivery, documentation and reimbursement outcomes.
• Participate in QAPI initiatives to promote resident care excellence.
