The position emphasizes timely submissions, accurate documentation, and collaboration with regional leadership to improve quality measures and reimbursement integrity.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required or preferred based on needs.
• Minimum 3–5 years of MDS experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong knowledge of PDPM, CMS regulations, and reimbursement systems.
• Experience with MDS software and clinical documentation review.
• Ability to travel regionally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PDPM and reimbursement processes; optimize ARDs and recalibrate coding.
• Ensure CMS-compliant MDS completion and timely submissions.
• Educate and support MDS staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor Quality Measures and collaborate with regional leadership.
• Assist with audits, sign MDS assessments, and support special projects.
