Summary
Regional manager leading Manufacturing Engineering for US & Canada operations to achieve excellence with capability and technology development & deployment into Jabil’s manufacturing facilities. Responsible for ensuring capability and technology exchange & collaboration within Jabil, key customers, and suppliers.
Location
On-site at any U.S. Jabil manufacturing facility. Travel up to 50% to other U.S. sites, depending on needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Including but not limited to:
Recruitment and Employee Development
Recruit, hire, support, and develop Manufacturing Engineering team members; create training curricula; coach staff; create succession plans.
Communication
Facilitate idea exchange, organize clear communication, encourage input, and ensure clarity of goals and responsibilities.
Functional Management
Align strategies with global and regional directions, drive cost reductions, and support business and technical strategies.
Technical Management
Provide advanced technology solutions, foster innovation, research trends, maintain memberships, and develop technology roadmaps.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related; 6-8+ years manufacturing experience including management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
