Job summary

Hilltop Residential seeks a Regional Manager to lead day-to-day operations across a portfolio of affordable and mixed-income communities in Austin and Dallas. You will act as the internal expert, ensuring compliance with leasing guidelines and program regulations while coaching onsite teams for operational excellence.

The role focuses on balancing strong financial performance with responsible property management, collaborating with corporate to scale best practices and training as Hilltop

Qualifications

• Proven multi-site multifamily property management experience with strong operational and financial results.
• Experience managing income-restricted or mixed-income communities, including eligibility processes.
• Familiarity with affordable housing programs such as LIHTC or HUD.
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, variance analysis, revenue maximization, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across a portfolio of affordable and mixed-income communities, serving as Hilltop's internal subject matter expert as we build out this area of our business.
• Ensure portfolio compliance with affordable housing requirements, leasing guidelines, and program regulations across the portfolio.
• Develop and support onsite teams, coaching Community Directors and leasing staff on operational excellence and income-restricted management nuances.
• Drive financial performance across the portfolio through revenue maximization, disciplined expense management, and accurate reporting.
• Implement and continuously improve site-level operating, maintenance, and cost control procedures in line with Hilltop standards.
• Partner with the corporate team to build out best practices, processes, and training as Hilltop expands its footprint in this space.
