Job summary

Mediko Inc. seeks a Regional Manager to oversee operational performance across multiple correctional healthcare facilities within a designated region.

You will ensure compliance with contract requirements, regulations and policies while driving quality improvements and staff development. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of healthcare leadership experience, including experience in regulated correctional environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 5–7 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience; 3–5 years in director/leadership roles preferred.
  • Experience managing healthcare operations in correctional/settings or regulated environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with NCCHC, ACA, and other correctional healthcare standards preferred.
  • Certification in Healthcare Management (e.g., FACHE, CPHQ, CHC) or NCCHC certification preferred.
  • Active RN licensure preferred; CPR/BLS certification required where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational performance of multiple correctional healthcare facilities within a designated region.
  • Ensure site compliance with contract requirements, regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor site performance and drive quality improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Lead recruitment, retention, coaching, and staff development across sites.
  • Attend client meetings and support business development efforts (pre-bid as needed).
  • Lead CAPs, partner with facility leaders, and communicate with stakeholders.

This role will manage day-to-day operations, work closely with facility leaders to optimize processes, and drive improvements in healthcare quality, staff performance, and operational efficiency.
