Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee the operational, financial, and compliance performance of a portfolio of affordable properties. You will lead Community Managers and site teams, ensuring occupancy, collections, and resident satisfaction align with Dominium's goals.

You'll monitor budgets, drive revenue, and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding change initiatives and maintaining strong partner relationships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years as a Area or Regional Manager in Multifamily.
  • Oversee a portfolio of three or more affordable properties.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combinations of education/experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office and prior Yardi software experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and drive results.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational, financial, and compliance performance of a portfolio of properties. This role ensures that communities meet performance expectations related to occupancy, collections, property conditions, resident satisfaction, and financial results. The Regional Manager provides leadership, guidance, and support to Community Managers and site teams, ensuring alignment with Dominium's strategic goals and operational excellence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Leads, mentors, and develops Community Managers and site teams to drive performance and professional growth.
  2. Ensures properties meet financial targets by managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and optimizing revenue.
  3. Oversees property operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  4. Maintains property conditions by ensuring high standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and curb appeal.
  5. Monitors occupancy, leasing activity, and resident retention efforts to maximize revenue.
  6. Identifies and resolves operational challenges, implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
  7. Guide site teams through change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and engagement.
  8. Fosters a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident satisfaction across all properties.
  9. Analyzes financial reports and property performance data to drive strategic decision-making.
  10. Oversees capital projects, ensuring timely execution within budget.
  11. Addresses and resolve conflicts among team members and stakeholders effectively.
  12. Builds strong relationships with internal and external partners, including ownership, vendors, and community organizations.
  13. Ensures crisis management plans are in place and executed effectively during emergencies.
  14. Stays informed on industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to enhance property performance.
  15. Handles additional projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Training and Experience.)

  • Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combinations of education and/or experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office and prior Yardi software experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive results.
  • Proven ability to develop, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
