Job summary

Avanath Capital is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee a significant real estate portfolio, drive lease-ups, capital improvements, and compliance. You will lead multiple sites, manage budgets, and coordinate with corporate teams to maximize performance and resident satisfaction.

The role demands 5+ years in community management and 7+ years in multifamily housing, with strong communication, travel within the region, and proficiency in MS Office and property management systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a community management role, preferably multifamily.
• 7+ years in multifamily or affordable housing preferred.
• Experience with lease-ups, due diligence, and capital improvements.
• Strong MS Office, email, and internet skills.
• Knowledge of LIHTC and tax credit/bond qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in regional budget development and reporting.
• Oversee financial performance and cash flow for the portfolio.
• Visit communities 3–4 times per week and manage up to 10 sites.
• Direct site personnel and coordinate with back-office teams.
• Ensure tenant relations, compliance, and service excellence.
