Job summary

Madison Communities seeks a Regional Manager to lead regional operations across a multi-state portfolio, supervising a team of Community Managers to ensure strong financial results and top-notch resident service.

You will drive budgeting, market evaluations, and leasing strategies while traveling regularly to Jacksonville, FL, Melbourne, FL, and Atlanta, GA to guide operations and development efforts.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of Multifamily Regional Management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years with Luxury Class A lease-up communities preferred.
  • Proven success supervising and mentoring multiple property teams.
  • Willingness to travel across FL and GA.

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional operations across a multi-state portfolio to maximize performance.
  • Hire, train, develop, coach, and supervise Community Managers.
  • Evaluate on-site staff performance against leasing and ops goals.
  • Promote exceptional resident experiences and service delivery.
  • Achieve budgeted income, expenses, and leasing goals across portfolio.
  • Oversee annual budgeting, collaborating with each manager.
  • Review monthly financial operations and provide strategic support.
  • Conduct market evaluations to inform pricing and rent positioning.
  • Develop marketing strategies for lease-ups and reviews.
  • Guide lease-up operations and high-end property openings.
  • Perform regular site visits to maintain quality and curb appeal.
  • Collaborate with Construction Services on capital projects.
  • Foster empowered teams and proactive problem solving.
  • Communicate goals and values to on-site leadership; travel frequently.
  • Travel to Jacksonville, FL; Melbourne, FL; Atlanta, GA for leadership.

This position is responsible for leading and directing all regional operations across a multi-state portfolio. The Regional Manager leads and supports a team of Community Managers to ensure optimal performance, strong financial results, high-quality service delivery, and a superior level of resident satisfaction.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Focus on the financial performance of each community, ensuring optimal staffing, efficient operations, and high returns for investors
  • Hire, train, develop, coach, and supervise a portfolio of Community Managers
  • Evaluate on-site staff performance in alignment with leasing and operational expectations
  • Promote a high level of customer service and ensure all teams deliver exceptional resident experiences
  • Achieve budgeted income, expense, and leasing goals across the portfolio
  • Oversee the annual budgeting process for each community, working closely with each manager
  • Review and analyze monthly financial operations and provide strategic support where needed
  • Conduct market evaluations to inform pricing and rent positioning, ensuring alignment with market and budgeted goals
  • Partner with each Community Manager to develop marketing strategies, especially for lease-ups, and conduct regular marketing reviews
  • Guide and support the execution of lease-up operations and high-end property openings
  • Conduct regular site visits to maintain high standards of quality, curb appeal, and service delivery
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Construction Services, for capital improvement and renovation projects
  • Foster strong teams through empowerment, open communication, and recognition programs
  • Communicate company goals, initiatives, and values consistently to on-site leadership teams
  • Travel across assigned locations regularly to provide in-person leadership and oversight: Jacksonville, FL, Melbourne, FL, Atlanta, GA.
Requirements
  • Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Sales and marketing expertise, including training, goal setting, and market analysis
  • Proven leadership in recruiting, hiring, team retention, coaching, and performance management
  • Ability to travel across multiple states: FL, GA
  • Proficiency in Yardi, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ADP Workforce Now
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal and team collaboration skills
  • Professional presence and strong organizational skills
  • Action-oriented and resourceful with a proactive, solution-driven mindset
Education and Background
  • BA/BS in Business or related field
