Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. seeks a Regional Manager for Clinical Documentation Excellence to provide day-to-day leadership for the CDE team across multiple hospitals and regions.

You will mentor CDS staff, oversee performance metrics, and collaborate with site physicians and coding leadership to optimize DRG accuracy and documentation quality. This role requires RN licensure and CDE expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of acute care hospital nursing experience.
• 2+ years of acute care hospital CDE experience.
• 1+ year of leadership/management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of CDE principles and methodologies.
• Current Florida RN license or eNLC multistate license.
• Certifications: CCDS, CDIP, CPC, CCS.

Responsibilities

• Directs department activities for multiple hospital sites and regions.
• Oversees Clinical Documentation Specialists and mentors the CDE team.
• Reviews performance data and implements improvement plans.
• Ensures compliance with laws, policies, and training requirements.
• Collaborates with physicians, coding leadership, and site Liaisons.
