Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is partnering with a leading specialty construction company to appoint an experienced Regional Manager in Chattanooga, TN. The candidate will oversee regional projects, lead Project Managers and Superintendents, and ensure schedules, budgets, and client relationships are effectively managed.

Travel is approximately 50%, with a Monday–Friday schedule (40–50 hours weekly). This is a direct hire opportunity offering benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance,

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in engineering, construction PM, or civil/mechanical engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong PM and leadership experience in construction.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a leading specialty construction company seeking an experienced Regional Manager in Chattanooga, TN.

This organization specializes in water infrastructure, prestressed concrete tanks, concrete rehabilitation, structural restoration, and other specialty construction services.

Position: Regional Manager
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Hours: 40–50 hours per week
Travel: Approximately 50%

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional construction projects from contract execution through completion
• Lead and support Project Managers and Superintendents
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, WIP, billing, collections, and overall project performance
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, suppliers, engineers, and municipalities
• Support business development, estimating, bidding, and client presentations
• Provide technical and construction expertise throughout project development and execution
• Conduct project coordination meetings, site visits, schedule reviews, and quality control reviews
• Develop project recovery plans and proactively address schedule or performance issues
• Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget
• Mentor and develop regional team members
• Represent the organization professionally while building long-term client relationships

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering, construction project management, or construction engineering experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar ABET/EAC-accredited program with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong construction project management and leadership experience
• Experience managing multiple projects and construction teams
• Strong business development, bidding, and client relationship skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Technical sales experience
• Experience with prestressed concrete tanks or AWWA D110
• Experience with concrete rehabilitation or structural restoration
• Water/wastewater or specialty infrastructure construction experience
