A leading company seeks a Regional Maintenance Technician responsible for the overall functionality of facilities. This role involves conducting inspections, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while providing exceptional service to property managers and tenants.
As a Regional Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the overall functionality of facilities while providing exceptional service to our team of Property Managers.
You will be responsible for conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repairs needed. This includes checking lighting, doors, locks, security cameras, and other facility equipment. You'll also perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks, including painting, light plumbing, electrical work, door/hasp repair, asphalt repair, line-striping, unit clean-outs, and more. Additionally, you'll be responsible for coordinating with external contractors for more complex repairs as needed.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing your strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. You'll also be responsible for providing excellent customer service to both Property Managers and tenants, addressing maintenance concerns promptly and professionally. Furthermore, you'll be required to maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and coordinate with management to order supplies as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repairs needed
* Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks, including painting, light plumbing, electrical work, door/hasp repair, asphalt repair, line-striping, unit clean-outs, etc.
* Coordinate with external contractors for more complex repairs as needed
* Provide excellent customer service to both Property Managers and tenants
* Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and coordinate with management to order supplies as needed
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local building codes at all times
Requirements:
* Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field preferred
* Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Basic knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures
Physical Requirements:
* Duties performed in both an indoor office environment as well as outside environment
* Must be able to traverse the properties in varying weather conditions
* Stooping, bending, twisting, reaching and repetitive motion may be required, for extended periods of time, in the completion of job duties
* Ability to lift 50+ pounds
