Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. seeks an Area Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance across multiple long-term care facilities. You will supervise staff, manage preventive programs, and ensure safety compliance, including fire system inspections and drills.

The role requires 2–5 years in LTC maintenance, a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred), and strong communication and organizational skills. HVAC experience and defensive driving are pluses.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED (college degree desired).
• 2–5 years of experience in a long-term care maintenance role.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Genuine care for elderly and disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations: supervise maintenance staff, schedules, and functions across multiple facilities.
• Perform maintenance tasks: ensure the physical plant and equipment are safe and functioning.
• Manage preventive maintenance: establish, implement, and audit preventive maintenance programs.
• Supervise contractors: oversee outside contractors for repairs and projects.
• Maintain safety standards: conduct inspections of fire control systems and coordinate monthly fire drills.
• Promote safety awareness: participate in new hire orientation for safety and policies.
• Budget management: work within repair, maintenance, and project budgets.
• Stock and equipment oversight: order and maintain supplies and equipment, repair tools as needed.
