Job summary

Landmark Realty, LLC is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager in the Kansas City area. This full-time role leads on-site maintenance staff, oversees HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general build-out tasks across multiple properties, and ensures timely preventive maintenance.

You will train teams, monitor performance, manage inventory, and coordinate with property managers to meet goals while maintaining resident satisfaction and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance supervisor experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of residential property maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, plumbing & HVAC skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office; ability to learn new programs.
• Yardi experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and valid insurance.
• Must have general tools to perform all maintenance tasks.
• On Call for emergencies.
• Maintains courteous and professional demeanor with residents, coworkers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site maintenance staff and supervisors in the diagnosis of problems and repairs related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and anything else that may come up
• Train and supervise property teams using the applicable program
• Review and oversee site performance/ curb appeal, work order completion, shop organization, inventory control, and make-ready management
• Review employee performance and provide feedback on employee progress
• Monitor inventory of maintenance shops through an organized system
• Train and ensure all technicians are using applicable programs
• Meet with property managers and maintenance supervisor to discuss goals
• Ensure preventive maintenance is completed in a timely manner
• Review safety procedures to ensure that all employees are adhering to the process
• Develop plans to increase maintenance and property efficiency
• Snow removal management

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance supervisor experience
• Minimum of 5 years of residential property maintenance experience
• HVAC certification
• Excellent mechanical, electrical, plumbing & HVAC
• Excellent leadership and communication
• Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to learn new programs and processes
• Yardi experience preferred
• A valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and valid insurance required
• Must have general tools to perform all maintenance tasks
• On Call for all Emergencies
• Maintains courteous and professional demeanor with residents, prospective residents, coworkers, and vendors
