The successful candidate should have the following requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years generalmaintenance experience
- EPA certification and be willing to take calls after hours
- A strong background in leading a maintenance team and overseeing the overall maintenance of acommunity
- A customer-focused attitude and be a supportive team player
- The ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, major appliances, pool and spa equipment, and other systems in operation at acommunity

Qualifications
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
Years of job-related experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on general maintenance experience preferred. Prior experience as a Sr. Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Supervisor.
- 5+ years of experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
Degree required and area of study:
Associates degree, high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Read service requests and schedules in English.
- High degree of professionalism and demeanor resulting from previous maintenance experience.
- Good communication skills in English; ability to also communicate in Spanish is preferred.
- Good listening skills.

Certifications/Specialized Training:
- Some skill in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
- Knowledgeable in OneSite, Yardi, or other property management software preferred.
- Required EPA, CPO, HVAC, state, and local certifications.
- Valid drivers license and proof of insurance required.

Work Environment:
