Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations and physical assets across 28 McDonald’s Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) locations in Dallas, TX and South Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, along with strong leadership skills to manage vendors, ensure safety compliance, and support restaurant teams with a clean, safe, and fully operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Facility & Equipment Maintenance
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, refrigeration, ice/shake machines, kitchen appliances, lighting, plumbing, and more
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues to minimize downtime and service disruptions
- Perform or oversee repairs to floors, grout, doors, ceiling tiles, electrical outlets, sockets, and fixtures
- Manage landscaping, playland cleaning, parking lot maintenance (painting/patching), and facility painting as needed
Vendor & Contractor Oversight
- Source, vet, and manage third-party contractors for equipment service, janitorial, landscaping, and capital improvement projects
- Negotiate service agreements and ensure timely, cost-effective execution
Capital Projects & Compliance
- Plan and execute facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, health and safety regulations, and all local/federal building codes
- Conduct regular site audits and maintain documentation of repairs, inspections, warranties, and service logs
Budgeting & Documentation
- Track maintenance expenses and manage the annual facilities budget
- Maintain accurate asset records, work orders, and inventory of repair supplies
Team & Communication
- Act as the central contact for all facility-related matters across locations
- Partner with restaurant management and operations leadership to prioritize maintenance needs
- Support preparation for corporate inspections and brand-standard visits
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in facilities or maintenance management
- At least 2 years’ experience in commercial kitchen equipment maintenance (QSR experience highly preferred)
- HVAC Certification and valid Driver’s License (required)
- Familiarity with plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and blueprints
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with maintenance management software and vendor platforms
- Ability to travel across assigned regions (Dallas + South Tulsa)
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred)

Work Schedule & Benefits
- Full-time | 10-hour shifts | On-call as needed
