Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Regional Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations across assigned portfolios, focusing on minimizing vacancies and ensuring timely work order closure. The role demands strong leadership, budget awareness, and the ability to travel for training and property visits.

You will mentor maintenance teams, implement preventive maintenance programs, and collaborate with the Community Manager to uphold Avanath standards and ensure resident satisfaction across properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in property management, hospitality, or construction.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient knowledge of construction industry terminology, codes, and building performance issues.
• Experience supervising staff and managing maintenance operations.
• Willingness to travel domestically for training and site visits.
• Detail-oriented with strong budgeting and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all building services and preventative maintenance.
• Supervise day-to-day operations including HVAC, plumbing, electrical.
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance work to Avanath standards.
• Manage maintenance technicians and ensure ticket closure.
• Oversee facilities budgets and inventory.
• Conduct regular inspections for safety and code compliance.
• Hire, train, and develop maintenance staff.
