Job summary

Fairfield Residential is seeking a Regional Maintenance Support Specialist to support multiple communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area with advanced technical expertise, supervision, and training leadership. You’ll live within the region and perform regular on-site visits to properties across the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with a monthly auto allowance to support travel.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, plus preventive maintenance,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Certification, Type II or universal required.
• CPO Certification (Pool) required, as needed.
• CAMT Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on building maintenance experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Multifamily/apartment experience required.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and cross-train maintenance associates at assigned communities.
• Provide on-request supervision, coaching, and hiring support.
• Promote and support participation in Fairfield training programs.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more.
• Complete preventive maintenance and common-area upkeep.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies when needed.
• Oversee on-site capex projects and vendor work quality.
• Assist with bidding, scope development, and procurement.
• Track project timelines to meet required milestones.
• Ensure adherence to Fairfield policies, OSHA standards, and hazardous materials requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems and safety equipment.
• Support make-ready schedules, move-ins, and move-outs upon request.
• Maintain communication with onsite and regional teams across multiple communities.
