Job Title: Regional Maintenance Director, Multifamily (https://careers.cushmanwakefield.com/)

Job Description Summary: The Regional Maintenance Director provides maintenance support, overseeing the physical condition of the community, supervising staff, and ensuring resident satisfaction through maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.

Essential Duties:

1. Prepare apartments for market, including painting, repairs, and cleaning.
2. Complete and assign maintenance projects timely and accurately.
3. Follow up on customer service issues to ensure resolution.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
5. Walk units to identify issues and create punch lists for resolution.
6. Implement preventative maintenance schedules.
7. Supervise staff and vendors, conduct safety inspections.
8. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
9. Perform various maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and more.
10. Maintain grounds, pools, common areas, and dog parks.
11. Perform emergency procedures as needed.
12. Report significant maintenance issues impacting budget or safety.
13. Schedule and record preventative maintenance activities.
14. Stay informed of relevant housing laws and codes.
15. Attend required training programs.
16. Provide professional customer service and represent the company well.

Competencies:

• Flexible to work any shift including weekends.
• Proficient in basic math and measurements.
• Possess required certifications like CPO and EPA 608 Type II if applicable.
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Ability to interpret data and prioritize tasks.
• Reliable transportation for work and emergencies.

Education: High School Diploma, GED, or vocational training.

Experience: 5+ years in maintenance, with 2+ years in leadership roles.

Work Environment: Office setting with travel between properties under varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
