Job summary

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy provider seeking a Regional Pharmacist Trainer to lead onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing education across LTC locations. The role drives standardized workflows and collaborates with leadership to ensure high-quality operations.

This position will oversee training initiatives, develop materials, and coach pharmacists, with travel across the region and a focus on patient-centered care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain and maintain pharmacist licensure in Kentucky and surrounding states as needed.
• Minimum of four (4) years of Long-Term Care pharmacy experience.
• Experience in training, mentoring, or educating pharmacy staff.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40–60% regionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and orientation programs for newly hired pharmacists.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship across the region.
• Develop and facilitate training sessions, educational materials, and competency assessments.
• Partner with leadership to identify training needs and implement plans.
• Standardize workflows and best practices across locations.
• Train pharmacists on FrameworkLTC, FrameworkECM, DocuTrack, and other platforms.
• Support implementation of new processes and technologies.
• Maintain training records in line with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities for retraining or coaching.
