Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in health, nursing, social sciences, psychology, sociology, counseling, social work, or closely related field.
• At least 3 years of social service experience with aging/geriatric long-term care.
• One year of supervisory/lead experience.
• Experience recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers.

Aufgaben

• Inform residents and representatives about rights and available services.
• Prepare monthly/annual reports per State Ombuds instructions using required systems.
• Conduct fact-finding and resolve complaints affecting residents' health, welfare and rights.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for Ombuds activities.
• Supervise Certified Volunteers LTC Ombuds and staff; provide technical supervision on visits, complaint handling, and mediation.
