Zusammenfassung

The Materials Management Specialist reports to the Regional Business Services Manager in Region 8. Duties include assembly, delivery, mail, and warehouse tasks, with occasional travel to HHS offices within the region.

Responsibilities cover vehicle operation, inventory, office moves, and coordination with contractors. This role requires staying compliant with safety practices and using CAFM and CAPPS systems daily.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred experience in shipping, receiving, sorting, and distributing furniture, supplies, or equipment.
• Experience driving panel trucks and cargo vans is preferred.
• Ability to travel locally and across the state which can include overnight stays.
• Preferred experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, dolly etc.

Aufgaben

• Drive state agency trucks and cargo vans to deliver and pickup large items.
• Perform warehouse duties including inventory and shipping/receiving.
• Assemble and install furniture and equipment for customers.
• Assist with office moves and minor building maintenance.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance logs and monthly reports.
• Support disaster deployment team delivering equipment.
