Job summary

Accurate Personnel LLC seeks a Regional Logistics Manager in Franklin, KY to lead transportation and logistics operations across multiple locations. The role requires strategic development of transportation plans, cost control, and cross-functional leadership across Dispatch, Logistics, and Finance teams.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in transportation/logistics or 3PL, plus leadership experience and strong DOT/regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 7+ years in transportation, logistics, brokerage, freight management, or 3PL.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience managing transportation teams.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and carrier management.
• Experience with multi-site operations and budgeting/forecasting.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; able to analyze data and trends.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee transportation and logistics operations across multiple locations within an assigned region.
• Develop and implement transportation strategies to improve service, efficiency, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Provide leadership to Logistics Managers, Supervisors, Dispatch Teams, and Coordinators.
• Establish and monitor regional KPIs, service metrics, and carrier performance.
• Oversee planning, load management, carrier selection, and shipment execution.
• Manage carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and develop partnerships.
• Review spending and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate shipment status and address service issues promptly.
• Analyze transportation data to drive informed business decisions.
• Lead regional problem-solving for service failures and capacity constraints.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Finance.
• Conduct site visits and audits to ensure consistency and compliance.
