Job summary

ASB Freight Co. is seeking a regional driver to operate a Class A tractor-trailer on Southwest routes. You will transport dry van freight to customer locations and complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections, while keeping accurate electronic logs and shipping documentation.

You'll follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures, with weekly pay via direct deposit and opportunities for safety incentives. Regional work with home time each week is typical for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 6 months of recent Class A tractor-trailer experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet DOT qualification requirements.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Job description

Primary Responsibilities

Drivers assigned to this position will:

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on regional routes throughout the Southwest
• Transport dry van freight to customer locations
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain electronic logs and shipping documentation
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures

Compensation

• $0.53 CPM on all dispatched miles (loaded and empty)
• Average 2,240+ miles per week
• Safety incentive opportunities available
• Additional $0.01 CPM available for drivers with a Hazmat endorsement (endorsement not required)
• Driver Pay Protection Program available
• Weekly pay via direct deposit

Route Information

• Regional Southwest operation
• Weekly home time with a 34-hour restart
• Dry van trailers
• No-touch freight
• Primarily drop-and-hook freight

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have:

• Valid Class A CDL

Additional Hiring Information

Drivers who have successfully completed the FMCSA SAP Return‑to‑Duty process may be considered if all SAP requirements have been completed and verifiable Class A driving experience has been obtained after completing the SAP program. All applicants must meet company hiring guidelines.
