Job summary

ASB Freight Co. is seeking experienced CDL-A drivers for a regional dry van position across the Southwest. Drivers haul dry freight and return home weekly, running established regional routes with no-touch and drop-and-hook loads.

You will operate a Class A tractor, complete pre-trip inspections, and maintain logs in compliance with DOT. Weekly direct deposit, paid orientation, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months of recent Class A tractor-trailer experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must meet DOT qualification requirements
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations
• Transport freight to customer locations
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain electronic logs and required documentation

Position Description

We are seeking experienced CDL-A drivers for a regional dry van position operating throughout the Southwest. Drivers on this account haul dry van freight and return home weekly while running established regional routes.

Freight Information

• Dry van trailers
• No-touch freight
• Primarily drop-and-hook loads
• Regional operation

Schedule

• Home weekly with a scheduled 34-hour reset
• Average 2,240+ miles per week

Compensation

• $0.53 CPM on all dispatched miles (loaded and empty)
• Additional safety incentive opportunities available
• Additional $0.01 CPM for drivers with a Hazmat endorsement (endorsement not required)
• Driver Pay Protection Program available
• Weekly pay by direct deposit

Additional Hiring Information

Drivers who have successfully completed the FMCSA SAP Return-to-Duty process may be considered if all SAP requirements have been completed and verifiable Class A driving experience has been obtained after completing the SAP program. All applicants must meet company hiring guidelines.
