Job summary

Roadtex Transportation is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the Regional Load Planning team responsible for planning and coordinating shipments for clients, maximizing efficiency and minimizing transportation costs. You will work closely with transportation providers, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure accurate load configurations and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing a team.
• 4+ years of load planning or similar experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Load Planning and Optimization: develop load plan strategy to reduce costs while maintaining on-time delivery.
• Coordination and Communication: align with warehouse leadership, carriers, drivers, and CSR teams.
• Problem Solving and Issue Resolution: address delays, equipment failures, and discrepancies.
• Data analysis and reporting: monitor load data, shipment statuses, and cost metrics.
• Compliance and Safety: ensure plans comply with regulations and safety standards.
• Team Management: hire, train, and guide the regional load planning team.
