CertainTeed, part of Saint-Gobain, is hiring a Regional Load Planner to manage outbound shipments and optimize freight movements within the assigned region. You will work with carriers, plant personnel, and customer service to improve network efficiency while maintaining high service levels.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or 2–3 years in logistics, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel, SAP or Manhattan Associates TLM. Some remote work and travel up to 20% are possible.
The Regional Load Planner is responsible for managing transportation activities within an assigned geographic region, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost effectively. This role works within an established transportation network to select carriers and transportation modes while balancing service expectations and cost objectives.
The position partners closely with carriers, plant personnel, customer service teams, and other business functions to optimize freight movements, improve network efficiency, and maintain high service levels. The Regional Load Planner plays a key role in identifying transportation improvements, resolving service issues, managing freight claims, and supporting day to day logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business, or a related field.
