Job summary

Saia is hiring a professional truck driver to operate tractor trailers across regional routes, delivering freight safely and efficiently. The role requires a valid CDL with hazmat, tanker, and twin trailer endorsements, and at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience.

You'll follow safety procedures, maintain logs, and handle load paperwork while supporting a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL with hazmat, tanker and twin trailer endorsements.
• At least 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• No DUI/DWI or license suspensions in past 3 years.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailers to deliver and pickup freight between company terminals and customer facilities.
• Travel regionally or cross-regionally with single/double/triple trailers.
• Follow pre-trip, post-trip, freight handling and billing procedures.
• Conduct inspections per safety and quality control procedures.
• Maintain records, logs, and load-related paperwork.
