Job summary

Cobb County Government is seeking a Regional Library Manager based at West Cobb Regional Library in Kennesaw, responsible for four branches in the northwest region. The role leads staff, drives growth, and promotes teamwork to deliver strong service to Cobb residents.

The regional manager coordinates with library administration and peers, supports policy adherence, and travels among branches to achieve system and regional goals under the Division Director of Branch Services.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required with five years of progressively professional library operations experience and three years lead/supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.
• Ability to develop goals, supervise multiple branches, and manage budgets and programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations at four libraries in the northwest Cobb County region.
• Provide leadership to staff to foster growth, collaboration, and excellent resident service.
• Supervise branch managers and staff across multiple locations; conduct performance appraisals.
