Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Regional Research and Learning Coordinator for the PlayMatters initiative. The role leads research activities, coordinates with national teams, and supports learning across Ethiopia, South Sudan and Uganda to improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications include 3+ years in education research,Experience with mixed-methods, and strong English writing skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with travel and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Education, Psychology, International Development, or related Social Sciences field.
• Strong writing skills and ability to produce reports for diverse audiences.
• Experience in education research, including both qualitative and quantitative methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate PlayMatters research and learning activities across three countries.
• Coordinate with national partners and external evaluators for research governance and data collection.
• Design and implement learning activities, workshops, and dissemination products.
• Prepare reports and academic papers for peer-reviewed journals and stakeholders.
