Description

AZ Regional Partner

Platinum Dental Services

Locations: Phoenix, Chandler, Mesa, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Scottsdale

About Platinum Dental Services

At Platinum Dental Services, our mission is to help as many people as possible lead healthier lives by restoring their oral health. We believe exceptional patient care starts with exceptional teams, strong leadership, and a culture built around growth, accountability, and service.

We are looking for an experienced, people-focused Regional Partner to lead and support a portfolio of dental practices. This is a field-based leadership role for someone who thrives on developing people, improving performance, building strong relationships, and helping practices reach their full potential.

About the Role

As a Regional Partner, you will serve as the connection between organizational leadership and the teams within your region. You will oversee the operational, financial, and cultural performance of multiple dental practices while developing Office Leaders and partnering closely with Doctors.

This is not simply an operations role. We are looking for a coach and leader who can identify opportunities, have meaningful conversations, use data to drive decisions, and develop leaders who can successfully run their practices independently.

What You'll Do
Develop & Coach Leaders
  • Build strong, capable, and independent Office Leaders who can successfully lead their practices.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development to Office Leaders and their teams.
  • Conduct structured weekly performance and accountability conversations.
  • Lead training and development initiatives that equip Office Leaders to coach and develop their own teams.
  • Support newly promoted or transitioning leaders through hands-on and remote coaching.
  • Build a culture of accountability, recognition, communication, and continuous improvement.
Partner With Doctors
  • Build trusted, collaborative relationships with Doctors throughout your region.
  • Coach Doctors around production, comprehensive diagnosis, patient communication, and practice performance.
  • Use data and performance trends to identify opportunities and guide productive conversations.
  • Partner with Doctors and Office Leaders to create actionable plans when a practice is not meeting expectations.
Drive Practice Performance
  • Oversee the financial and operational performance of the practices within your region.
  • Review key performance indicators and financial reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring immediate attention.
  • Coach practices toward established production, profitability, collection, hygiene, and operational goals.
  • Partner with Doctors and Office Leaders to manage expenses, including laboratory and supply costs.
  • Identify performance gaps quickly and create clear plans for improvement.
  • Maintain awareness of daily office performance, whether working on‑site or remotely.
Strengthen the Patient Experience & Sales Process
  • Coach teams on Platinum's patient experience and sales processes.
  • Help teams confidently communicate treatment recommendations and financial options to patients.
  • Ensure patient financing options are consistently and proactively presented.
  • Identify opportunities within the patient journey—from diagnosis and handoffs to financial conversations and follow‑up—and coach teams toward improvement.
  • Reinforce comprehensive patient care as the foundation for sustainable practice growth.
Build Strong Teams & Culture
  • Help Office Leaders recruit, develop, retain, and engage high‑performing teams.
  • Coach leaders through performance management, conflict resolution, recognition, onboarding, and team development.
  • Address performance and personnel concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Partner with organizational leadership when practices require additional support or intervention.
  • Promote open communication, teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
Support Specialty & Hygiene Growth
  • Monitor hygiene performance and support practices in maintaining strong patient reappointment rates.
  • Help practices optimize specialty scheduling and referral opportunities.
  • Partner with specialty leadership to strengthen specialty production and relationships between general and specialty providers.
What We're Looking For

Our ideal Regional Partner is a people‑first leader and coach who understands that their greatest impact comes from developing others.

You may be a great fit if you are:

  • A natural coach who enjoys helping others grow and succeed.
  • Comfortable leading multiple locations and balancing competing priorities.
  • Data‑driven and confident using financial and operational metrics to make decisions.
  • Able to read and understand P&L statements and practice performance reports.
  • A strong communicator who can navigate difficult conversations with honesty, clarity, and respect.
  • Decisive and comfortable taking action when challenges arise.
  • Highly accountable and able to hold others to clear expectations.
  • Sales‑minded while maintaining a patient‑first approach.
  • Humble, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning.
  • Skilled at building trusted relationships with Doctors, leaders, and team members.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience as a dental Office Leader, Practice Manager, Regional Manager, or in a multi‑site dental operations leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success coaching individuals and teams toward measurable improvement.
  • Experience overseeing practice operations, financial performance, and team development.
  • Familiarity with dental practice management and reporting systems such as Open Dental, DOMO, Axle, or similar platforms is preferred.
What Success Looks Like

A successful Regional Partner develops practices that perform well even when they are not physically in the building.

Success in this role means:

  • Practices consistently achieve operational and financial goals.
  • Office Leaders are capable, confident, and able to lead independently.
  • Doctors are supported, engaged, and performing toward established goals.
  • Teams consistently execute Platinum's patient experience and sales standards.
  • Performance challenges are identified and addressed quickly.
  • Team turnover is minimized and practice culture remains strong.
  • Communication between practices and organizational leadership is consistent, transparent, and solutions‑focused.
Travel & Work Expectations

This is a field‑based, multi‑site leadership position requiring regular travel throughout the assigned region. Regional Partners maintain consistent contact with every practice and prioritize in‑person visits based on each office's needs.

The role includes weekly leadership coaching, regular office visits, ongoing performance monitoring, monthly training and development activities, and consistent collaboration with the Director of Practice Operations.

Our Culture

Our core values guide how we lead, serve our patients, and work together. At Platinum Dental Services, we believe in Serving Others, Putting Patients First, Doing More With Less, Building Positive Team and Family Relationships, Aspiring for Education, Being Humble, Building Open and Honest Relationships, Being Happy, Teamwork, and Clinical Excellence.

If you are energized by developing people, improving practices, building strong teams, and making a measurable impact across multiple locations, we would love to meet you.
