CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Substation Protection & Control Engineer | Regional Technical Leader to provide technical and organizational leadership within our Power and Energy practice in the United States. You will lead, develop, and grow a team of engineers delivering high-voltage protection and control projects.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, 15 years of related experience, and a proven track record in protective relaying, SCADA integration, and power system studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related discipline.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of high-voltage substation protection and control projects.
• Serve as technical authority for protective relaying, control systems, SCADA integration.
• Mentor engineers, manage project budgets, schedules, and quality.
• Support business development and client relationships.
