Job summary

Meta Platforms, Inc. is hiring two Regional Managers to lead teams within the data center Community Engagement organization, with a preference for one based in the Western United States and one in the Eastern United States.

Each Regional Manager will oversee Community Engagement Managers responsible for driving local initiatives across their region. You will drive cross-functional alignment with site selection, operations, policy, communications and public affairs to advance local strategies,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in public affairs, nonprofit mgmt, government relations, or public-facing engagement.
• Bachelor's degree in public relations, communication, external affairs, business, or equivalent.
• Experience with nonprofit grants, donations, and CSR planning.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Strong organizational and program management skills with multiple projects.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with local and state policy and legislative processes.

Responsibilities

• Support community engagement strategy and drive initiatives in data center communities.
• Advocate for community interests across cross-functional partners in infrastructure planning.
• Lead and coach a team of community engagement managers.
• Develop strategies to raise meta's profile in assigned communities.
• Build external relationships with stakeholders and officials.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with site selection, public policy, comms, legal, and operations.
• Monitor local needs and report risks to leadership.
• Lead integrated planning across External Affairs for events and projects.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 75%.
