Job summary

ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is seeking a Lab Quality Assurance Manager to oversee QA, accreditation, and compliance activities for laboratory operations across an assigned region. This role ensures testing services meet quality standards and project specs while supporting staff development and continuous improvement.

The position requires leadership of soils, concrete, and asphalt labs, adherence to Quality Manual and QMS, and coordination of proficiency programs.

Qualifications

• 10 years of related experience is required.
• Bachelor's or higher in Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Certifications (or PE, PG, NICET Level IV) per ECS policy are required for the work.
• If managing both soils and concrete labs, certifications are required for both labs.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving for ECS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality assurance activities across soils, concrete, and asphalt laboratories.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Manual and QMS.
• Coordinate and oversee lab accreditation events and proficiency programs.
• Maintain calibration schedules and records for laboratory equipment.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and testing accuracy.
