Regional Key Customer Marketing (West Region) Associate Director

Legend Biotech is seeking a Regional Key Customer Marketing (West Region) Associate Director as part of the Commercial team based in CA, CO, or WA.

Role Overview

The Regional Key Customer Marketer (KCM) AD for Multiple Myeloma/CAR-T will be responsible for leading the development, planning, and execution of thought leader engagement strategies for the West Region, ensuring alignment with the brand strategy. This is a field-based marketing role (non-sales focused), working closely with national and regional thought leaders and key customers. Primary focus areas include thought leader engagement, executive encounter management, and liaising with marketing, all within label and regulatory guidelines.

The KCM will collaborate with other field professionals and home office colleagues in Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, and Market Access, following SOPs. Success behaviors include collaboration, communication, planning, relationship building, and tactical execution with timely feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, profile, cultivate, and maintain relationships with thought leaders and key customers at academic institutions and large community networks.
  • Plan and execute engagements with thought leaders and key customers at conferences, field events, and other venues.
  • Translate engagement insights into strategies and tactics.
  • Lead specific KCM initiatives supporting the brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team on thought leader insights to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Partner with Johnson & Johnson on planning and peer-to-peer initiatives.
  • Work with Insights & Analytics to understand regional treatment patterns.
  • Provide insight reports to leadership.
  • Assist in executing commercial contracts as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MD, PharmD, PhD or related advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in pharmaceutical or biologics industry experience in sales, marketing, or medical engagement.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in Multiple Myeloma, Cell Therapy, or Oncology.
  • Experience with KCM is preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 75-85%.
  • Compliance with label, legal, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Flexible, proactive, and adaptable to change.
