Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is a leading education management company serving 82,000+ students across 150+ campuses. We seek an Instructional Technology Specialist to drive technology integration in classrooms, collaborate with school teams, and develop professional development that enhances teaching and learning.

The ITS will work with state, regional, and national teams to implement tech-rich strategies aligned with CSUSA's education model and goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred in Educational Leadership, Instructional Technology, Library Media Sciences or Curriculum Instruction.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with K-12 Teaching, Media Specialist, and/or Instructional Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with state leadership and school administrators to assess, create, and implement tech integration.
  • Coordinates with Curriculum & Instruction and other units on content, models, goals and training plans.
  • Develops and facilitates professional development and training sessions for staff.
  • Assists in developing curriculum materials and lesson plans for tech integration.
  • Facilitates selection, installation, and startup of educational technology systems.
  • Participates with committees to identify goals and long-range tech plans.
  • Prepares and presents information about technology for internal and external communication.
  • Collects feedback on technology usage to guide improvements and purchasing decisions.
