Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking an IT Support Manager to lead regional user support teams and serve as the escalation point for advanced technical issues. The role focuses on delivering customer engagement, planning technology upgrades, and driving manufacturing automation initiatives across eight plant locations in the U.S.

and Canada. Occasional travel is required. The ideal candidate will manage a remote workforce, collaborate with Cyber Security, Applications, and Infrastructure

Qualifications

• BS in computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years IT management or supervisory experience.
• Preferred two (2) plus years in discrete manufacturing, aerospace or heavy industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT support functions across 8 plant locations in multiple states.
• Serve as primary business-facing IT leader and escalation point.
• Mentor and develop IT support technicians.
• Document requirements, specifications, use-cases, and workflows.
• Support data governance and master data initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and governmental policies.
• Oversee local IT projects and improvements; manage schedules (including after-hours).
• Collaborate with security, networking, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Provide on-site and remote support for emergencies and events.
• Lead endpoint imaging/deployment and shop floor IT systems projects.
