Job summary

Astemo Ltd. is seeking an IT Security Manager to lead regional cybersecurity operations across the Americas, including the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strategic coordination with global teams, and a focus on reducing risk and improving security effectiveness. The ideal candidate has five or more years in cybersecurity, strong expertise in Windows/AD/identity security, and experience building automation and dashboards to improve security visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure security, endpoint management, or security operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading employees or technical teams, including assigning work and driving accountability for results.
• Experience setting employee goals and conducting performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of IT Security professionals through goals, performance management, and career development.
• Coordinate day-to-day cybersecurity operations across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.
• Own execution and tracking of regional cybersecurity operational priorities, remediation activities, and security initiatives.
• Partner with regional IT, Infrastructure, Manufacturing IT, Service Delivery, and Global Cybersecurity teams.
• Monitor regional security posture and coordinate remediation of identified gaps and exceptions.
• Identify cybersecurity risks and drive remediation, elevating major risks to the IT Security Director.
• Develop automation, reporting, dashboards, and technical workflows to improve security visibility and efficiency.
