Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking an IT Security Manager to lead day-to-day cybersecurity operations across the Americas (Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil). The role requires hands-on leadership, regional coordination, and strong technical depth to drive remediation and improvements.

You will work closely with the IT Security Director and partner with IT, Infrastructure, and Global Cybersecurity teams to protect enterprise assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure security, endpoint management, or security operations.
• Experience leading employees or technical teams, including assigning work, mentoring staff, and driving accountability.
• Experience setting employee goals, conducting performance reviews, and supporting career development.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint security, vulnerability management, identity security, and incident response.
• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting and automation technologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with technical and business teams across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.
• Ability to travel throughout the Americas as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of IT Security professionals through goal setting, performance management, and career development.
• Coordinate day-to-day cybersecurity operations across the Americas region.
• Own execution and tracking of regional cybersecurity priorities and remediation activities.
• Partner with regional IT, Infrastructure, and Global Cybersecurity teams.
• Monitor security posture and coordinate remediation of gaps and exceptions.
• Develop automation, reporting, dashboards, and workflows to improve security visibility.
• Support audits and compliance initiatives; enforce security standards and policies.
• Identify risks and drive improvements to reduce operational risk.
