Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS Corporate Center America is seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our regional technology environment across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. You will translate global standards into region-specific guidelines while driving operational excellence and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or similar role in a corporate environment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• Hands-on expertise with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere)
• Practical experience with SAN, NAC storage solutions and Veritas NetBackup
• Knowledge of network design and protocols including Cisco routing, switching, and firewall technologies
• Strong recovery and root cause analysis capabilities with excellent communication skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English

Responsibilities

• Design and Review IT infrastructure architecture for cost-efficiency, scalability, manageability, and compliance
• Adapt global standards into region-specific IT guidelines
• Recommend cost-effective, innovative best practices
• Ensure alignment with local regulations
• Assess regional IT infrastructure maturity and implement continuous improvement plans
• Define and manage regional IT operations KPIs
• Support the implementation of IT infrastructure projects and establish guidelines for new entities
• Conduct root cause analysis of major incidents and recommend actions
• Oversee regional system incident escalations and coordinate with stakeholders
• Coordinate and review regional infrastructure projects to ensure on-time delivery and compliance
• Optimize service delivery with Hyundai AutoEver and other IT partners
