Job summary
Avangrid Power, LLC is seeking an Interconnection Project Manager in Portland, OR. This senior role reports to the Senior Director - Transmission and Interconnection within Avangrid Renewables.
You will manage a regional interconnection portfolio, negotiate LGIAs, and coordinate with origination, development, and operations teams to optimize value across projects. The successful candidate will have 6+ years in generation development or transmission, with ISO/TO experience and strong commercial,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, business or related field.
- Minimum 6 years in generation development, interconnections, transmission planning or utility operations.
- Experience interfacing with Independent System Operators and Transmission Owners preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage interconnection positions to support Avangrid's commercial and growth goals.
- Develop and secure interconnection positions for wind, solar, and storage projects.
- Coordinate siting of interconnection and transmission facilities with internal teams.
- Oversee studies to determine interconnection feasibility and negotiate LGIP-related agreements.
- Identify risks in interconnection queues and agreements and communicate them clearly.
