Akron Children's Hospital seeks a Regional Advocacy Injury Prevention Coordinator to plan, implement, and evaluate unintentional injury strategies across several Ohio counties. You will collaborate with partner agencies, schools, and health organizations to serve high‑risk communities in a culturally competent way.

The role requires a Public Health degree, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and a valid driver's license. Certification in child passenger safety or enrollment in 60 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Public Health degree required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Driver's license and ability to obtain insurability.
• Child passenger safety technician certification or obtain within 60 days.

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement, and evaluate regional injury prevention activities.
• Collaborate with schools, gov’t and community partners on programs.
• Provide technical assistance to internal staff and partners.
• Develop and sustain community engagement plans and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with rules and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with marketing on public awareness campaigns.
