Job summary

BJC HealthCare’s Central Staffing Office (CSO) seeks a Regional Float ICU RN for a long-term assignment, supporting 11 hospitals across Missouri and Illinois with one-hospital placements for 2–12 weeks.

You will work three 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends/holidays, travel between facilities, and receive onboarding and system-wide support. Strong ICU experience and Missouri license with IL license eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Critical Care (ICU) experience required.
• Missouri RN license + ability to obtain Illinois RN license.
• Willingness to travel between BJC facilities in MO & IL.
• Strong adaptability in variable clinical environments.
• ADN, BSN, or MSN accepted.
• Initial 1st week will be a 5 day full-time training commitment to support your success.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in ICU, with occasional float to step-down or telemetry units.
• Promotes patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and participates in professional development.
• Uses nursing processes and evidence-based practice to develop and implement care plans and evaluate outcomes.
• Leads and collaborates with patient, family, and interprofessional team to plan interventions and outcomes.
