About this Role:
The Midwest Region HR Manager will work closely with the general managers at each of our hotels to help source talent, screen applications, conduct phone screenings and interviews, and onboard and train new hires. This individual will also work with our management teams to help with general human resources initiatives as needed, such as support for helping our staff enroll in benefits during open enrollment. Finally, the HR Manager will partner with our Regional VPO and our VP of Human Resources to provide guidance and support to all employees in their region.
This position is a hybrid remote role open to candidates in the following cities:
- Fort Wayne, IN
- Pittsburgh, PA
- Columbus, OH
This job may require occasional travel to our hotels in the Midwest Region. At this time, we have hotels in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
About You:
We are looking for someone who can
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes for approximately 10 hotels in our Midwest Region
- Develop and maintain relationships with the leadership teams at our hotels to gain an understanding of the staffing needs at each property
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Provide guidance to hotel leadership on interviewing best practices
- Provide some support to employees and management in various HR-related topics such as leaves of absence, compensation, and benefit enrollment

- Have 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new employees
- Know how to source and connect with quality candidates
- Have excellent communication and people skills
- Have a good understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Are able to help employees complete I-9s and other onboarding documents
- Want to work as a part of a welcoming, positive, results-driven team
Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus but not required. Some experience in recruiting and human resources is a must.
