Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a Regional HR Generalist to deliver expert HR support across multiple facilities in the East Region. Qualifications

Location: Pittsburgh, PA Area – East Region

Reports To: VP, Human Resources

Shift: Day

Travel: Regional travel required, including travel to Pennsylvania and Canadian facilities

Position Summary

The Regional HR Generalist provides technical expertise across a wide range of Human Resources areas, including employment and labor law, employee relations, labor relations, leadership development, organizational development, strategic HR planning, employee engagement, and partnership with the business.

This position will contribute to the overall Human Resources strategy and lead organizational initiatives that support business objectives across multiple locations within the region.

The Regional HR Generalist will work closely with operational leadership and employees, providing both strategic and hands-on HR support while ensuring consistent application of company policies, programs, and employment practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive Human Resources support across multiple facilities within the assigned region.
  • Partner with business and operational leaders to understand organizational needs and provide practical HR solutions that support business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, policies, and HR best practices.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, performance concerns, conflict resolution, and other workplace issues.
  • Provide expertise regarding employment and labor law and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, provincial, and local requirements.
  • Support labor relations activities and work effectively with leadership in addressing workforce and employee matters.
  • Coach and counsel managers regarding performance management, employee development, corrective action, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Support recruiting and talent acquisition activities to ensure appropriate staffing levels and successful onboarding of new employees.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, productivity, and workplace culture.
  • Support leadership development initiatives and provide guidance to managers regarding effective people-management practices.
  • Assist with organizational changes, restructuring, workforce planning, and other business initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent interpretation and administration of company policies, procedures, and Human Resources programs across assigned facilities.
  • Partner with corporate Human Resources leadership on company-wide HR programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Support compensation, benefits, leave administration, performance management, and other Human Resources programs as required.
  • Maintain appropriate HR documentation and ensure employee information and records are accurate and confidential.
  • Analyze HR trends and workforce information to identify potential concerns and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, supervisors, plant leadership, and senior management.
  • Maintain a visible presence within assigned facilities and develop an understanding of each location's workforce, operational needs, and business challenges.
  • Travel between assigned facilities throughout Pennsylvania and to Canadian locations as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, metals, or similar operational environment.
  • Strong experience with employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of employment and labor laws and Human Resources best practices.
  • Previous experience supporting manufacturing or plant operations strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple facilities or business locations is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with employees at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong coaching and consultation skills with the ability to influence and advise operational leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a regional Human Resources role.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly between assigned facilities, including travel within Pennsylvania and to Canada.
Preferred Experience
  • Human Resources experience within a manufacturing or industrial organization.
  • Multi-site or regional HR experience.
  • Employee and labor relations experience.
  • Experience partnering directly with plant managers and operational leadership.
  • Experience supporting organizational development, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar Human Resources certification is an asset
