Job summary

SSA Marine is seeking an HSE Manager to oversee occupational safety and health across Brunswick, GA, and Jacksonville, FL. You will lead the safety program, drive incident investigations, and collaborate with local management to enforce policies and training.

The role requires at least 5 years in HSE, CSP/OHST preferred, and the ability to travel 50% to support regional operations. Strong communication and data analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or related field; extensive experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Professional safety certifications such as CSP or OHST preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in occupational health, safety and environmental management in marine/logistics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and environmental programs across Brunswick and Jacksonville locations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies to reach operational excellence.
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes and preventive actions.
• Analyze trends, maintain accident statistics, and report regional performance.
• Conduct compliance training and coordinate with legal and safety teams.
