Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Area Human Resources Manager for the Boston Metro Area. You will lead HR strategy and operations across multiple Sunrise communities, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and workforce engagement.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and have 2+ years of HR experience, with supervisory and employee relations skills. This hybrid role offers benefits and career growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years HR experience (senior living or healthcare preferred).
• Supervisory and employee relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance practices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• High integrity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment, job fairs, and hiring processes.
• Ensure compliance with Sunrise Hiring Standards and employment laws.
• Lead onboarding, orientation, and system access for new team members.
• Maintain HRIS, ATS, personnel files, and regulatory documentation.
• Manage unemployment and workers’ compensation claims.
• Serve as HR partner to department leaders on performance management.
• Lead employee relations matters and internal investigations.
• Drive team member engagement initiatives and action planning.
• Deliver HR systems and policy training for front-line staff.
• Maintain audit readiness and complete monthly compliance controls (MKCC).
