Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Lead HR Business Partner to support Bridgestone Retail Operations across the New England area.

This individual contributor role will partner with 12 Area Managers to deliver HR strategy and support over 1,200 teammates across 130 locations, with remote work and travel as needed. The ideal candidate will live in Providence, RI or Newark, NJ and bring extensive knowledge of state and federal employment law, performance management and workforce planning.

Qualifications

• 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 6 years with a master’s degree.
• Exposure to multi-unit retail environments.
• Strong knowledge of State and Federal employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Partner with store leaders to deliver proactive HR support aligned with business goals.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, engaging work environment and culture.
• Collaborate with COEs on talent development, compensation, benefits, and DEI.
• Analyze HR data to identify opportunities for improvement and impact.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies as a regional SME.
• Support change management and drive teammate engagement and retention.
• Oversee headcount management and partner with RPO for staffing.
